Week 2: August 15-19

WOW! What a fun 2 days:) I'm so excited to get to know this group of students. There are such fun, diverse personalities--it's going to be a great year! My goal as a teacher is to tap into each student's unique intelligence and help them improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, which can help them in every area of their lives.

There is a lot going on this week to set the groundwork for the rest of the school year including introducing our amazing iRead program. Tuesday is Back-to-School Night from 6-8pm--please plan on attending to understand the requirements of our class. Look for an email from me explaining more about this. I am looking forward to meeting you!

I'm happy to correspond with you about your child or answer any questions you may have. Please email me at rachel.robins@washk12.org or call the school before or after school hours at 652-4742.
