Here is the schedule for Utah-in-the-News this week. Students will have the opportunity to find a news article pertaining to Utah, write a summary paragraph about it and present it in front of the class once a trimester. This activity fulfills a very important part of the Common Core. It allows the student to read informational text, summarize what they read and practice the important skill of being able to speak in front of other people. Thank you for your support of such an important activity!

* Unprepared last week-will need to present this week.
· Remember, you can present early
for an extra entry into the Monthly Robins Raffle.
· If you are unprepared or miss
your day, you will lose 10 points automatically so please come prepared. If you will be gone on Friday, you need to
make arrangements with me, ahead of time, to present another day.
· Remember to fill out the form completely
and cut or print out your article and attach it to the form.
